Life presses in on all sides-every month-everyday-every minute-every second-
We all have the same 24 hours-hopefully not wishing for more or less then the day will bring-good or bad, everyday is a blessing.

I love getting up early (though I’m a night owl)-
I love to “open my house up” in the morning-shades up to let the morning light flood the house-quiet reflection and prayer time to set the tone of the day-inspiring music playing in the background-preparing food for my family to go and conquer this day!

My latest gadget is the Ninja blender-I dig the single serving cups to make a healthy breakfast in minutes!
So here’s my latest concoction…..

1 large handful of organic kale/spinach/baby chard (Power to the Greens bag mix from Trader Joes) usually I use fresh from the garden but, this mix is excellent on the fly!

1 tablespoon of Raw Coconut Oil (Garden of Life)

1 teaspoon of Chia seeds

6 fresh strawberries

1/2 of a banana

1 cup of frozen blueberries (fresh is best but frozen help makes the smoothie colder without adding ice)

1 small scoop of protein powder (Solgar Whey To Go-is delish!)

1 cup of Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk

Blend until smooth-pop the lid on and a straw and enjoy throughout the morning or on your drive to work-

Remember, feed the mind, body, and soul when you begin each day-it will direct your steps-
